Can You Make A Lighthouse/Quilter Financial Planning Claim?
Millions of customers have been mis-sold financial products in the past. Unfortunately, relatively few have made it a point to file a claim.
This is often due to the fact that they are unaware of what types of situations constitute mis-selling.
Here are some common examples:
- A great deal of pressure was exerted during the process.
- You were contacted by an individual or firm without any prior request.
- The risks associated with the transaction were never made clear.
- The IFA avoided specific questions or concerns that you may have expressed.
In terms of a pension, you might also have been promised much higher returns than those associated with your existing pension.
If you think this is the case and you feel you were mis-sold a pension by Lighthouse, you can get in touch today for a free callback and advice

Who Is Lighthouse/Quilter Financial Planning?
Lighthouse was a financial advisory firm specialising in self-invested pension plans and similar defined contribution schemes.
Several complaints were filed by previous clients. These claims stated that they were mis-sold various SIPPs and, as a result, they lost a fair amount of money.
In early January 2020, The Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) began investigations into Lighthouse over defined benefit advice they’d given to British Steel Pension Scheme Members.
In August 2020, another firm known as Quilters Financial bought Lighthouse for £46.2m and took over all responsibilities associated with Lighthouse.
Quilters has since set aside £24 million pounds in order to redress client complaints and future remunerations.
This means may be able to make a claim and we can help you.

British Steel Pension Scheme Members
Up to 300 British Steel members received defined benefit transfer advice and Quilters have set aside a whopping £24m pot for potential claims. This has doubled from their initial estimation too.
So if you’re a British Steel Pension Scheme member, you may also be entitled to compensation if you transferred your defined benefit pension.
