Lighthouse was a financial advisory firm specialising in self-invested pension plans and similar defined contribution schemes.
Several complaints were filed by previous clients. These claims stated that they were mis-sold various SIPPs and, as a result, they lost a fair amount of money.

In August 2020, another firm known as Quilters Financial bought Lighthouse for £46.2m and took over all responsibilities associated with Lighthouse.
Quilters has since set aside £24 million pounds in order to redress client complaints and future remunerations.
